WASHINGTON – Today, President Donald Trump invited U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) and Senate Republicans to the White House for a working lunch to discuss advancing nominations through the U.S. Senate and an end to the Schumer Shutdown.
“Great to be back at the White House today for lunch with President Trump,” said Dr. Cassidy. “Working together, we’re moving his agenda forward in the Senate to get results for the American people.”Yesterday, Cassidy joined President Trump at the White House to celebrate Louisiana baseball.
