BATON ROUGE – Today, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) addressed both chambers of the Louisiana Legislature, where he thanked them for his service and work to better Louisiana.
“If we work together to solve the problems we face, our friends and neighbors will have a better future here in Louisiana,” said Dr. Cassidy. “That should be what we’re all working towards.”
Cassidy was welcomed by Speaker of the House Clay Schexnayder and Senate President Page Cortez.
“Bill Cassidy has been a champion for Louisiana, from delivering vital investments in infrastructure to standing up for oil and gas industry,” said Speaker Schexnayder. “The Louisiana House of Representatives thanks Senator Cassidy for speaking to us today, and for his service to Louisiana.”
