Cassidy to Join Trump at LSU-Alabama Game

WASHINGTON When No. 1 LSU takes on No. 2 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, the Tigers will be playing in front of President Donald Trump and U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA).

Cassidy will sit with President Trump during the “Game of the Century II” where he will pitch the president on the endless merits of cheering for the Purple and Gold.

“President Trump is always with the best. He is going to the best game with the best team. He will also see Alabama play,” said Dr. Cassidy.

Cassidy, an avid LSU fan, is predicting a 38-35 victory for the Tigers on Saturday.

President Trump discussed the game during a KPEL interview Wednesday with Moon Griffon, who encouraged Trump to wear an LSU hat for the game.

“I love football. I love those two states. I think I better remain neutral! But we’re going to have a good game,” said President Trump, who went on to praise LSU’s Heisman Trophy frontrunner and “great” quarterback Joe Burrow.

The Tigers and Tide kickoff at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
