MEDIA ADVISORY: Take a #SeersuckerSelfie Tomorrow

WASHINGTON— In celebration of National Seersucker Day tomorrow, a life-size seersucker suit cardboard cutout will be making its way around Capitol Hill for Seersucker Enthusiasts to take pictures with.

You can follow the location of the suit using the hashtag #SeersuckerSelfie.

Its first stop will be the lobby of the Hart Senate Office Building at 8:30am.

Seersucker Enthusiasts are encouraged to take and post their own photos to spread the word about the suit’s location. A photographer will be on hand to assist with pictures and/or to take additional pictures that will be available at Cassidy.senate.gov.

In case you don’t locate the suit, a Snapchat filter will be live in the US Senate Office Buildings and the US Capitol ahead of the official picture between 1-2pm ET.

The official National Seersucker Day photo with US Senator Bill Cassidy and fellow US Senators will take place at the Ohio Clock in the US Capitol around 2pm ET. Exact time of the picture is subject to vote schedule, please be on the lookout for updates throughout the day.
