Cassidy Secures $14.9 Million for Louisiana Airport Upgrades from His Infrastructure Bill

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $14,887,241.00 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation through his Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The funding will protect against flooding, expand taxiways, rehabilitate pavement, and support airport planning and development.

“I worked to bring this funding home to Louisiana so our airports can keep up with demand and stay safe,” said Dr. Cassidy. “These projects help keep our people and our state’s economy moving.”
