Save the Date: Senator Cassidy to Host Second Louisiana Energy Security Summit in New Orleans on October 16, 2025

NEW ORLEANS, LA — U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) will host the second annual Louisiana Energy Security Summit on October 16, 2025 in New Orleans. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event in Baton Rouge, this year’s summit will convene leaders from business, academia, and government to explore the future of American energy, manufacturing, and trade.

The 2024 summit featured ten dynamic panels and drew more than 300 attendees from across the country. Panelists included Fortune 500 executives, energy experts, and former senior Trump administration officials, who discussed Louisiana’s competitive advantage in low-emissions manufacturing, the role of U.S. natural gas in strengthening global security, and the urgent need to counter unfair trade practices by foreign adversaries.

The 2025 summit will spotlight Louisiana’s leadership in manufacturing and energy production—driven by abundant resources, world-class infrastructure, and a workforce ready to meet the energy demands of tomorrow. Louisiana is central to securing U.S. supply chains and strengthening America’s industrial competitiveness. The event will focus on how policy, investment, and innovation are converging to secure U.S. energy leadership and grow jobs here at home.

Full agenda and registration details will be announced closer to the event.
