WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant a total of $5,390,297.15 to the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government in relief for Hurricanes Gustav, Isaac, and Delta.
“These reimbursements are a reminder that recovery from hurricanes is a long journey. Louisianans should not have to wait years to get back on their feet,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding is welcome aid, but there is more work to do.”
