Cassidy Announces $6 Million in Hurricane Relief

WASHINGTON –  U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $6,068,430.76 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Ida and Zeta.

“Families in South Louisiana have seen storms destroy property and lives,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities recover and help families get back on their feet.”

This grant will provide federal funding for debris removal in the wake of Hurricane Ida.


Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness

This grant will provide federal funding for state management costs as a result of Hurricane Zeta.
