WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant the Louisiana Children’s Medical Center a total of $2,440,492.05 in reimbursements for personal protective equipment (PPE) purchased during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our doctors and nurses were on the frontlines of the pandemic keeping our families safe,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding is reimbursement for steps taken to keep our frontline workers safe.”
