WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Ascension Parish will receive $3,764,904.75 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This funding will upgrade the existing Marvin Braud Pump Station and levees.
“In Louisiana, ensuring our communities are prepared for the next storm is crucial,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will reduce the risk of flooding and make it a safer place for families to live.”
