Cassidy Announces $5 Million for Louisiana in Hurricane, Winter Storm Relief

WASHINGTON –U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $5,004,899.54 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in hurricane and winter storm relief.

“Hurricanes and winter storms have taken a toll on Louisiana, but our communities remain resilient,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding helps heal our communities from past weather events and ensures we are prepared for the future.”

$1,267,687.82Ochsner Clinic FoundationThis grant will provide federal funding for systemwide emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.
