Cassidy Announces $8 Million for Louisiana in Hurricane Ida, Laura Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $8,040,659.17 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricanes Ida and Laura Relief.

“Louisiana families have shown great resiliency in the wake of both Hurricane Laura and Ida,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will allow our communities to continue their rebuilding efforts.”

$1,282,518.44Lafourche ParishThis grant will provide federal funding for management costs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
$3,995,147.46Terrebonne Parish North Wastewater Treatment PlantThis grant will provide federal funding for permanent restoration as a result of Hurricane Ida.
