WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will grant Jefferson Parish a total of $9,817,358.83 in Hurricane Ida relief. Specifically, the funding is reimbursement for debris removal.
“Hurricane Ida devastated families across South Louisiana, many of whom lost everything,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help Jefferson Parish as we bounce back and prepare for the next natural disaster.”
