To Prevent Coronavirus Spread, Cassidy Closes Offices; Staff to Telework

WASHINGTON In an effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) is closing his Washington and state offices effective Friday, March 13. Staff will telework until further notice.

Constituent services will continue. Those in Louisiana who need assistance from a federal agency, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Social Security and the IRS, can contact the Louisiana offices by emailing casework_cassidy@cassidy.senate.gov or by calling 225.929.7711.

Constituents may also contact the Washington office by calling 202.224.5824.

“We’re still here to serve you, we’re just serving virtually. This allows us to both protect public health and continue to do the job of the office,” said Dr. Cassidy.
