WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Southwest Louisiana Hospital Association will receive a total of $1,126,558.25 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funding will be used for Phase 2 temporary facilities at the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
“During a hurricane, our hospitals are on the front lines taking care of our communities,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital rebuild and be prepared for when the next storm hits.”
