WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today announced Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport will receive a total of $5,200,000.00 from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Specifically, the funding will replace three existing passenger boarding bridges that are no longer serviceable. “Having modern, efficient airports is essential for economic growth,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding from the infrastructure law will help bring jobs and outside investment to Baton Rouge.” |
