WASHINGTON—Today, the White House released a tax reform plan to provide historic tax relief for middle-income families and small business owners. This plan intends to simplify the tax code, create jobs and incentivize investment and growth.
US Senator Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA) released the following statement on the White House proposal:
“Our complex tax code inhibits growth,” said Dr. Cassidy. “We have the opportunity to develop pro-growth legislation that will create better jobs for working Americans and benefit Louisiana families.”
Cassidy serves as a member of the Senate Finance Committee.
