US Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson today announced an additional $163 million to help several state and local communities to recovery from severe flooding that occurred in 2015 and 2016, $51,435,000 of which is allocated to Louisiana. Today, NOAA announced the 2017 federal recreational season for red snapper in the Gulf of Mexico.
